The plasma polishing sets completely new standards in the area of surface processing in polishing, deburring and cleaning of metallic parts and can also be used for parts of different materials and with complex geometry.

  • Cleaning, deburring, polishing, passivation and decouting of metallic parts up to 1.000 cm² in small batch series (steel – especial non-stainless steel -, non-ferrous metal, pure titanium as well as other metals on enquiry)

  • Plant planning and plant building

  • process development and electrolyte adaption and development for your materials

  • Research and Development

The process works with manageable and environmentally friendly chemicals.

Becaus of overlaying of cleaning and degreasing effect ot the plasma no pre- and posttreatment of the parts is necessary, nevertheless larger pollutions should be removed to avoid a contamination of the electrolyte solution.

Apart from this also a decoating of surfaces is possible with plasma polishing.

  • The exposer time of the process is only a few minutes,

  • removal of material is much lower than in electrochemical polishing,

  • nevertheless, glossiness – especially of stainless steel surfaces – is much higher than by electrochemical polishing and

  • no thermal, mechanical or chemical stress gets on the parts surface.

Fields of application:

  • medical technology

  • precision parts production

  • precision parts production

  • food industry

  • laser cut parts

  • tool making

materials which can be polished:

  • stainless steel

  • non-stainless steel (low and non alloyed steel): polishing effect depend on the alloying components and the carbon rate

  • non-ferrous metals: chromium-cobald-(molybdenum) alloys, tungsten, molybdenum, nickel-titanium alloys

  • light metals: titanium, titaniumalloys, aluminum and aluminiumalloys (in laboratory stage)

  • non-ferrous heavy metals: copper, brass, bronzes, nickel-silver

  • combination of materials

  • MIM-metals
